Good Grief! It's Christine & Snoopy!

Christine Duran, aka The Bulldog Godmother, founder & owner of The Bulldog Republic LLC, and concept creator of The Annual Bulldog Derby event, became a Bulldog mom in June 2016 to Snoopy the Bulldog! He was the inspiration for her passion for the Bulldog breeds, as well as her motivation to bring a fun Bulldog celebration event to SoCal - and now Las Vegas - all while helping rescues and shelters find forever homes for their dogs.

In September 2018, Christine went to the Santa Anita Park Racetrack and asked if they would be interested in partnering for this type of event. Together they invited SCBR to be the beneficiary , and the rest is history! From the 1st Annual Bulldog Derby event on January 19th, 2019, they raised  $10k cash and more in donated services and in-kind donations! Over 5000 in attendance and over 500 English and French bulldogs! And, coincidentally,  Snoopy the Bulldog won the English Bulldog division! Proving dreams do come true!

The Bulldog Republic LLC would go on to have another successful event at the 2nd Annual Bulldog Derby event on January 18th, 2020. They helped benefit 2 rescues: CARMA4Horses and PPAR - MN. Needless to say it was an even bigger event and more successful than the 1st event.

Now having relocated to Las Vegas, NV, Christine has joined the Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and is looking forward to helping the Vegas community, its local pet businesses, and the local shelters and rescues with the Bulldog Derby. It is our passion to love and celebrate, educate, and spread adoption awareness of not only the Bulldog breeds,  but other dogs in need, too. Through our various support team of on-site officials, vendors, sponsors,, partners, and other affiliates, we try to offer and  provide breed support, education, rescue support, health and care of the bulldog breeds.
